I am excited to share some big news with you. After years of caring for so many wonderful families, I have made the heartfelt decision to step away from my pediatric dental practice to embark on a new adventure with my family.
What makes this transition so special is knowing that I am leaving the practice in the best possible hands. I am thrilled to introduce Dr. Julio Escobar, who will be taking over and continuing the legacy of compassionate, high-quality care for your children. Dr. Escobar and I first met in 2016, shortly after he moved to Washington, and we quickly discovered our shared passion for pediatric dentistry. Over the years, we have collaborated in study clubs and developed a strong professional connection.
Since 2023, Dr. Escobar has been seeing patients at our practice on an interim basis, getting to know many of you and your families. He is not only a highly skilled pediatric dentist but also an active resident of the community—whether it’s through Scouts, his children’s schools, or running and biking the Cross Kirkland Corridor.
Dr. Escobar and I both trained at UCLA, and I have complete confidence that he will bring the same warmth, dedication, and excellence in care that you’ve come to expect. Additionally, I am happy to share that our wonderful associate, Dr. Kevin McCoy, will continue to be part of the practice. Many of you already know and trust Dr. McCoy, and together, he and Dr. Escobar will ensure a seamless and positive experience for all our patients.
While I will miss seeing you and your children in the office, I am filled with gratitude for the years we’ve shared. Thank you for trusting me with your child’s dental care—it has truly been an honor. I know you will continue to be in great hands with Dr. Escobar and our incredible team.
